Homeschool Visual Art Education Program – New for 2026
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Our ‘Homeschool Art Program’ offers high-quality, artist-led visual art education and hands-on art-making opportunities for homeschool students aged 6-18 years.
Students will engage in exciting art challenges and individual instruction tailored to each student’s skill and age level. Classes run for 8 weeks and are aligned to the Victorian school terms.
The homeschool art program is planned and instructed by artist Katrina Fisher and classes are linked to the ‘Australian Curriculum’ for the Visual Arts.
Students will explore traditional art techniques such as drawing, painting, mixed media, collage, sculpture and more. All supplies are provided.
Classes cover:
- Elements and principles of art and design
- Creating 2D and 3D forms
- Composition
- Art history, artists and movements
- Responding to artworks
Term 1, 2026 Class Schedule:
WEDNESDAYS – 1.00 pm – 2.15 pm
The cost for term classes is $350 per term with all materials provided (8 weeks of classes). A sibling discount is available for two or more children. Payment plans available. Please contact Katrina for details and to book a place. (katrina@kidsartroomgeelong.com.au).
